This team is reimagining hiring through AI: from candidate discovery to screening to onboarding. You’ll help build intelligent, agentic workflows that reduce friction for small business owners and help workers find better jobs, faster
This is a high-impact role where you’ll contribute to end-to-end systems, help shape architecture, and drive AI-powered product innovation across the stack (React + Ruby on Rails)

Support the design and development of scalable full-stack systems using React (frontend) and Ruby on Rails (backend)
Build complex features end-to-end—from ideation to production—focused on Hiring Assistant workflows
Evolve systems that support AI-driven hiring experiences (screening, matching, automation)
Integrate and apply AI/LLM tools, agents, and automation frameworks to improve product capability and team velocity
Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data to deliver fast, high-quality outcomes
Support technical decision-making, including system design, performance, and scalability
Improve engineering velocity through tooling, experimentation, and AI-assisted development workflows
Be an advocate to raise the bar on code quality, testing, and execution among your colleague engineers

MasterClass at Work for ongoing learning- Strong experience with APIs, distributed systems, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
2+ years of full stack engineering experience (Ruby on Rails + React strongly preferred)
Demonstrated ability to retool workflows using AI and measure impact (Mid/Senior IC expectation)
Proven ability to design and deliver complex systems end-to-end
Ability to operate with high velocity and ownership in ambiguous environments
Strong product mindset—you build for real users, not just technical elegance
Comfortable collaborating in-office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (hub-based hybrid model)
Hands-on experience or strong curiosity with LLMs, AI agents, or automation tooling
Experience building AI-powered or workflow automation products
