Abridge is looking for experienced Front End Engineers to join our growing team! You’ll play a key role in our technology decisions and implementation, and you’ll see firsthand the impact that we’re making on healthcare
You’ll build and support functionality primarily in React but also across our APIs and other TypeScript codebases
As a growing startup at the edge of this wave of AI, you’ll have opportunities to work across our stack and help develop best practices as our industry continues to shift
Scale up our business by designing, building, and supporting easy-to-use React/Typescript applications
Set standards for accessibility and design system use
Make and implement technology decisions that support business needs without compromising security, privacy, or quality
Enhance existing systems to add new functionality, and to improve performance, stability, quality, and security
Advocate for high standards; make quality-of-life improvements to the codebase; and help limit the growth of technical debt
Build deep user empathy and maintain a user-centric mindset
Communicate regularly and effectively within and on behalf of our cross-functional product delivery teams. You’ll work with other disciplines including design, product, machine learning, and infrastructure, and will have opportunities to learn from and contribute to projects across the company

7+ years’ experience building, shipping, and supporting web applications, including 5+ years of experience with React. You’ve seen what works, and what didn’t
Willingness to pitch in wherever needed - as a fast-moving startup we need to do good work, quickly
Have independently worked and delivered a small web app or entire feature in a larger web app
