Responsibilities.
- Analyze Business requirements, design, and finally to deliver high-performance application leveraging the industry standards and technologies.
- Work on infrastructure to make sure the application and the stack are secure and ready to handle high volume traffic.
- Setup unit testing.
- Setup CI/CD pipeline.
- Mentoring team members to bring standard and increase code quality.
Required Skills
- Highly proficient in PHP and PHP Framework (Laravel) with deep and current production experience in distributed and high-load environments.
- Highly proficient in HTML, CSS and JS.
- Strong knowledge and experience in network architecture, terminologies, security and technologies such as reverse proxy, load balancer, content delivery, etc.
- Well versed with Linux (Debian) server administration.
- Strong knowledge and experience in using, setting up or maintaining AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudFront, ALB, VPC, CloudWatch) in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge in Database design, engine, scaling and optimization.
- Experience working with finance, accounting, inventory and order fulfillment workflow.
- Experience in Unit Testing such as PHPUnit.
- Experience in application optimization.
- Proficiency with version control system (Git).
- Highly proficient in applying Object Oriented methodologies, design patterns, data structures, algorithms and project structure best practice.
- Strong knowledge of multi-tier architectures, micro service, cache, web service, REST, etc.
- Previous experience conducting technical code reviews and guiding other developers.
- Able to communicate well in English spoken and writing.
Additional Skills
- Knowledge and experience in testing frameworks such as PHPUnit and Selenium. Able to write automated tests and enforcing quality standards.
- Experience setting up or maintaining CI/CD pipelines; infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Knowledge and experience in Containerization such as Docker.
- Experience or knowledge working with data privacy framework such as GDPR.
- Experience integrating AI tools and APIs; AWS Bedrock exposure particularly relevant.
- Previous experience with complex booking engines, financial platforms or travel technology.
