Duties

- Collaborate with the finance team to understand their software needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and update existing applications to ensure optimal performance and compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
- Utilize double entry bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support corporate accounting activities by providing technical solutions that enhance reporting capabilities.
- Work with accounting software, particularly , to integrate programming solutions that improve efficiency.
- Provide technical support for users of the accounting software, addressing any issues or concerns.
Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proven experience in C+ programming with a solid understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of journal entries, corporate accounting practices, and double entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in both coding and financial documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
